My door won’t open. What should I check first?

Check that the opener has power, that nothing is blocking the safety sensors near the floor, and that the remote battery is good. If the door feels extremely heavy when you pull the release cord, stop — that usually means a broken spring, and it is not safe to force it.

How fast can someone get here?
